Star Wars Episode II, DVD, Bootleg, China 2002
The VOB-files on the disc are dated May 25th 2002, the movie premiered in cinemas May 16th. I bought it in August, same year. (The official release on DVD was Dec. 11th 2002, incidentally.)
The disc opens with an intro for Licence to Kill "Welcome to Licence to kill special edition DVD", a woman's voice says. Nice.
A proper bootleg! Recorded off a cinema screen with a camcorder, this bootleg features the theatrical edit of Episode II, never released commercially. Who says bootlegs aren't useful? This is a different recording to the other bootleg appearing the same month. I found the exact same content on a different bootleg too, although the cover art and disc art are different.
