Star Wars: A myth for the 20th century / Star Wars: En myte for det 20. århundre, VHS, Fullscreen, NRK 1999

This is a documentary produced by Norwegian state broadcaster NRK in 1999. It delves into the cultural phenomenon around Star Wars in the context of the hype around the release of Episode I in 1999. It tries to draw a connection between Star Wars as a modern myth and how it impacts and enthralls a modern audience. Interviews with the principals behind Episode I are interspersed with fan interviews and researchers. Liam Neeson, Natalie Portman, Samuel L. Jackson and George Lucas are featured in what seems to be EPK interviews.
Runtime is approx. 30 minutes.

The state broadcaster usually supplies recordings of its own productions to the public on request, but this particular tape seems to be a promo item. I purchased it from a Norwegian online marketplace in 2020.
