Star Wars Episode I on VHS from Israel. The film is in cropped fullscreen, subtitled in Hebrew, with original English Hi-Fi Stereo sound. Onscreen text and crawl remain in English. As you can see from screenshot #8, they didn't have a textless master, so they had to cover up the underlying burned-in subs with a black band. The Israeli cases open from the left, in accordance with them writing from right to left. The case mentions that original releases come with "the original gray-black tape in a transparent box". My cassette does indeed have a black front and a gray back housing (not shown), but the box it came in was black, not transparent. This is another of the international releases I bought on eBay in 2009.
