Return of the Jedi, VHS, Megastar, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, 1995 (1416)
Fullframe 4x3 - Hi-Fi Stereo - PAL - Arabic subtitles

Return of the Jedi was released by Saudi Arabian distributor Megastar under licence from 20th Century Fox for release in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries (GCC).

The film is in 4x3 fullframe (the end credits are letterboxed, though), with Arabic subtitles. The scroll and other on-screen text remains in English. Jabba's lines are subtitled in both the original English and Arabic, with both subtitles appearing on screen together.

A trailer for the Star Wars Trilogy and Part 3 of Leonard Maltin's interview with George Lucas appear before the film.

If you take a closer look at the cover, Princess Leia's bare torso has been painted over on the front, and on the back photo as well. On the film itself, Oola's dance is censored, with some of the close-ups of the scantilly clad dancer cut out, leaving abrupt breaks in the music. There are also many shots removed from the throne room scenes and Jabba's sail barge, where Slave Leia's abdomen would have been visible. Amusingly, the kiss between Han and Leia at the end is also cut.
