Hong Kong distributor Deltamac issued Episode III on VideoCD for the Hong Kong and Macau market in 2005. It comes as a 2-disc Digipack release in a sturdy slipcasecover. As VideoCDs only hold about 67 minutes of video, the film is split into two discs.
This set features original English audio with Chinese subtitles. The title card and crawl are in English. The program starts with a Deltamac logo, and then proceeds to the copyright notice in both English and Chinese. Then comes a peculiar inclusion of two versions (!) of the "Piracy is a crime" PSA before the film starts. The shrinkwrap on my copy is slit open on the side, so I can access the content. I still elected to keep the remains of the shrinkwrap on there, which makes for some poor product shots, unfortunately. |
