Hong Kong distributor Deltamac issued Episode I on VideoCD for the Hong Kong and Macau market in 2000. It comes as a 2-disc Digipack release in a sturdy slipcover. As VideoCDs only hold about 67 minutes of video, the film is split into two discs. This version features the film with original English audio, accompanied by Chinese subtitles. Once again I only have a sealed copy, and as I want to keep any sealed copies in my collection intact, I can't inspect the inside packaging and disc features in detail. Interestingly, the Hong Kong release also comes in a different, bigger case, carrying the exact same UPC and product number. As far as I can tell the discs are exactly the same. You can see that set here. I am unsure whether these were both released at the same time, or that the smaller box is a subsequent reissue. The files on this smaller set are dated March 2000, but that does not conclusively prove the year of release.
