The Empire Strikes Back, VCD, Interactive Sense 2.0 CD, China 1997

This is a bootleg VideoCD of the theatrical version of The Empire Strikes Back, and was accompanied by similar releases of Star Wars and Jedi. The releases have a "Interactive Sense 2.0 CD" signifier on the sleeve, so I refer to them as such. Other than that I can identify no "company" releasing these.

These were sourced from the 1995 Hong Kong laserdisc releases. (They even kept the THX Laserdisc intro.) The films come in the 4x3 cropped aspect ratio, with original English sound and Chinese subtitles.

Before the film starts, you get an X-files trailer and part 2 of the 1995 Leonard Maltin interview with George Lucas.

These were bought on eBay in 2011. They came in paper sleeves, designed to fit round a regular CD jewelcase. You had to supply the jewel case yourself.
