In France, the Special Edition laserdiscs were released in both original and French dubbed versions. The separate releases had French audio, while the box set contained the films with original English audio and French subtitles. Each disc came with a chapter guide, which is identical to the ones in the box set releases. On this first film, there is a sticker on the outside of the shrinkwrap advertising the "improvements" of the Special Edition. I do not know if a similar sticker was applied to Empire or Jedi from the same set.
