Lego Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Out, DVD, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment, USA 2013

The Lego Star Wars - The Empire Strikes Out programme was released both as a regular DVD and a Collector's Edition in the USA. The Collector's Edition contains the regular DVD and an exclusive Lego minifigure, "Darth Vader with medal". The cardboard box accomodates a plastic bubble for the figure, making the entire package twice as thick as a separate DVD release. The DVD case contains a promotional insert for the Lego toyline. The "As Seen on Cartoon Network" label on the front is a sticker from the outside of the shrinkwrap. The Lego Star Wars content is something of a mixed bag, but no Star Wars video collector can ignore them. I buy these when I happen on them, but never seek them out. I bought this one on eBay back in 2013. It was dirt cheap, but arrived with a severely warped outer box.
