This is a rental copy from the UK, sourced from eBay. The rental and retail DVDs are exactly the same, so there's no difference in content or features.
I'm always on the lookout for rental versions of the Star Wars films. They are usually exactly the same as the retail versions, but by their very nature they are harder to find. You do run the risk of getting a tape or disc that is just barely working, so if you're just after a way to see the films you should steer clear of rental versions.
The pilot Clone Wars movie was released on DVD and Blu-ray across many different markets in 2008. The film is presented in the 2.35:1 aspect ratio, with Dolby Digital 5.1EX sound.
