Star Wars Episode III HMV Exclusive Slipcase Edition, DVD, 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment UK, 2005

Slipcase edition containing the regular retail 2-disc release of Episode III. This is what is referred to as "O-ring" packaging, where the cardboard slipcase is open at the top and bottom and just surrounds the DVD case as a "Ring". According to Nathan Butler's book "A Saga on Home Video", this was an HMV exclusive. I picked mine up on eBay a few years after release (2009), and never knew it was limited to one retailer. Australia got a very similar slipcase but with a side opening. The DVD inside is the exact same as the regular release, but the slipcase design is pretty neat, and adds a sense of luxury.
