Return of the Jedi, Betamax, CBS/Fox Video USA, 1987 (?)

I believe this to be a 1987 rerelease of the 1986 issue, but I'm not sure if this is a proper variation. It came with a 10th. anniversary insert, but the actual tape seems to be the same as the 1986 one, missing the 10th. anniversary intro that the VHS tapes had. The program starts with the CBS/Fox logo and goes straight into the film. After the end credits there is a trailer for the Star Wars Trilogy. It is possible Return of the Jedi only had one pressing on Beta before the format went belly-up. Or they just had old stock and issued the 10th. anniversary tape as a running change. Or, as this tape was bought on eBay in 2007 - almost 20 years after it was released, the 10th. anniversary insert isn't native to this tape.

The label glue bleeding through like that is the same on both my copies. This hasn't happened on the Star Wars or Empire Strikes Back tapes, so I guess they used a different glue this time. They all seem to use Scotch blanks as well.
