Star Wars - 10 DVD Set, DVD, China, 2005

Once all the Star Wars movies were officially available on DVD, the bootleggers switched tactics. Instead of simply getting the movies out there, they actually had to beat the legit releases on added content. As soon as Episode III was released, complete sets of all six movies started to appear out of Asia, often with attractive packaging like the one here.

This slipcase houses 10 discs, all six movies and the four official supplemental discs. The cover still says "trilogy". Again, all the discs are rips of the official NTSC DVDs. The pearlescent effect is quite attractive, I must admit. The VOBs are dated 23.11.2005

The "D9" usually denotes that dual-layered discs are used, a sort of quality stamp on bootlegs.
